GURUVAYOOR
- God's Own Temple is a Famous location. It's a graceful

- Deshnok is a small village situated 32 km

387 years ago (as per English calendar). The greatest
attraction of Deshnok is the temple of Shree Karnimata. |
NASIK

MADURAI -
An ancient city, more than 2,500 years old, Madurai
is believed to have been built by the Pandyan Kind Kulasekara,
Legend has it that drops of Maduram feel from Lord Shiva's
locks when he came to bless its people for constructing
a temple for him. Madurai's history can be divided into
roughly four periods, beginning over 2000 years ago
when it was the capital of the Pandyan Kings. Apart
from a brief period when it fell to the pandvas until
the decline of the empire. |
TIRUPATI
- Reputed to be one of the oldest & most
venerated holy shrines of the Hindus. Tirupati is the
abode of Lord Venkateshwara (Balaji). The main temple
is ensconced in the seven hills Tirumala (13 kms / 8
miles) and the town at the foothill is known as Tirupati.

the chest are the image of the goldesses Lakshmi &
Padmavati, the figure is laden with jewels. |
SHIRDI
- Mandir is built with stones and Baba's Samadhi
is full of omamental decorations. In
Front of the Samadhi are two silver pillars full of
decorations. Just behind the Samadhi is Sai Baba's marvelous
statue made of Italian marble which shows him seated
on a throne. This idol was made by late Balaji vasant.
Only three occasions the temle is kept open overnight.
Ie, On Gurupoornima, Dassera, & ramnavmi. Every
Thursday & on ech festival, a palkhi with Baba's
photo is taken out from the temple. |
VARANASI
- Varanasi (also known as Banaras) is one of
the oldest living cities in the world & the ultimate
piligrimage for hindus, who believe that to die into
city. This is situated on the banks if the Ganga, Varanasi
is the tract of Holy Land lying between the rivers.
This flows into Ganga. Varanasi is also known as Kashi,
the city of life. Varanasi has been a great cultural
