Trimbakeshwar :

Trimbakeshwar is situated in Nashik District. The holiest place having one of the twelve Jyotirlingas of the country. The peculiarity of this Jyotirling is that it has three faces embodying Brahma, Vishnu & Mahesh.

The temple is situated at the foothill of Brahmagiri and is known for it's exquisite architechture & sculptures. Peshwas have renovated this temple. Along with Nashik, Kumbh Mela is held here after every twelve years. This is the only place in india where Tripindi Narayan Nagbali is performed. Brahmagiri is the source of Godavari river. The river Godavari has its source here on the Bramhagiri hill.
